Woman in activewear holds a pink gym bag. Surrounded by pink drinks, supplements, and wellness items. Text: "health," "wellness."

Let’s be real. Between iced matcha's, Pilates classes, and romanticizing your life — you still want to feel good from the inside out. That’s where supplements come in.

I started taking my wellness seriously in my mid 20s, and I promise you: the glow-up is real when your body actually gets the nutrients it needs.

Here’s my personal supplement routine and why each one is a non-negotiable for me. Affiliate links are included because I only recommend what I genuinely love 💗

Text "1. Vitamin D3 + K2 – For Mood, Immunity + Hormone Balance" in bold on a pastel gradient background.

Most of us (especially if you’re inside all day editing content like me or working) are not getting enough vitamin D — and it shows in your mood, skin, and immune health.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

70% of Americans are Vitamin D deficient

  • Fatigue even after rest

  • Feeling down or emotionally “flat”

  • Bone aches or muscle weakness

  • Frequent colds or infections

Benefits:

  • Supports mood & reduces symptoms of anxiety/depression

  • Strengthens bones and teeth

  • Boosts immune function

  • Balances hormones (especially important if you experience PMS)

Why I love it: Vitamin D boosts my energy and mood, while K2 helps direct calcium to the right places (aka bones instead of arteries - very important). They’re like besties that work better together.

Text reads "2. Grass-Fed Blood-Building Iron – For Energy + Hormone Health!!" on a pastel gradient background.

Okay, this one might sound a little… out there. But trust me on this! If you’re constantly tired even after 8 hours of sleep? It might be low iron. Painful periods? It might be low iron. I switched to a grass-fed, heme-based iron that’s gentle on my stomach — and game changer is an understatement.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

  • Always tired, no matter how much you sleep

  • Shortness of breath, fast heartbeat

  • Pale skin or dark under-eyes

  • Cold hands + feet

  • Painful periods

Benefits:

  • Increases energy + focus

  • Supports healthy periods

  • Boosts hair growth and reduces hair shedding

  • Promotes oxygen flow to muscles and brain

When I started taking it: My periods are WAY smoother, no nausea/lightheadedness and finally feeling energized again.

Text "3. Tart Cherry Extract – For Sleep + Recovery" on a colorful gradient background, blending pastel shades of pink, blue, and green.

If you scroll at night and have trouble winding down (same), tart cherry is that girl. It naturally boosts melatonin and helps with inflammation too.

Signs You Might Be Deficient in Melatonin or Struggling with Inflammation:

  • Poor sleep or insomnia

  • Trouble recovering after workouts

  • Puffy face in the morning

  • Always feeling “wired but tired”

Benefits:

  • Naturally boosts melatonin (better sleep)

  • Reduces muscle soreness and speeds recovery

  • Anti-inflammatory (helps with puffiness + skin clarity)

  • Helps regulate circadian rhythm

Why I love it: I take 1 before bed and I sleep like a baby. Also helps with muscle soreness after workouts/injury.

Text on a pastel gradient background: "4. Turmeric + Quercetin + Bromelain – For Inflammation + Glow."

This combo = anti-inflammatory queen. If you're bloated, breaking out, or feeling sluggish, this blend helps reduce oxidative stress and supports skin clarity.

Signs You Might Be Dealing With Inflammation:

  • Seasonal allergies or sinus congestion

Benefits:

  • Combats inflammation and joint pain

  • Aids digestion and reduces bloating

  • Helps with histamine regulation (great for allergies)

When I started taking it: I feel lighter, my gut is happier, and my skin looks so much calmer. It's like a reset for your whole body.

Text: 5. Collagen Peptides – For Skin, Hair + Gut Health. Black font on a pastel gradient background.

Think of collagen as the main structural protein in your body, like the scaffolding that holds everything together – it's found in your skin, hair, nails, bones, joints, and connective tissues.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

  • Hair thinning or brittle nails

  • Early signs of skin aging (fine lines, dullness)

  • Leaky gut or poor digestion

  • Joint pain or stiffness

Benefits:

  • Supports skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles

  • Strengthens hair and nails

  • Heals the gut lining

  • Promotes joint and bone health

When I started taking it: After adding it to my smoothies everyday. my skin looked so much plumper, my nails grew crazy fast, and my digestion felt more regular. Obsessed.

Text reads: "6. Zinc – For Immunity + Clear Skin" on a pastel gradient background.

Zinc (Chelated) is underrated but so important. It helps your immune system, supports hormonal balance, and is great for acne-prone skin.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

  • Breakouts that won’t go away

  • Getting sick often

  • Irregular periods or hormonal acne

  • Poor wound healing

Benefits:

  • Clears skin by reducing acne-causing bacteria

  • Boosts immunity

  • Supports hormone regulation

  • Speeds up wound healing + reduces PMS symptoms

Why I love it: Fewer colds, clearer skin during PMS week, Period pain nearly gone and it helps my supplements absorb better.

Text reads "7. Magnesium Glycinate – For Sleep + Stress Relief" on a soft pastel gradient background.

Magnesium = the chill girl of the supplement world. It helps with muscle recovery, hormone regulation, sleep, and stress.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

  • Can’t sleep even when you’re tired

  • Muscle cramps or tension

  • Constant stress, anxiety, or mood swings

  • Digestive issues or constipation

  • Deep, restful sleep

  • Muscle relaxation and period cramp relief

  • Reduces anxiety and racing thoughts

  • Supports blood sugar balance and digestion

Why I love it: I take it every night and wake up feeling actually rested — not groggy.

Black text reads "8. Why Ground Flaxseed Is That Girl of Superfoods" on a pastel gradient background, combining pink, blue, and green hues.

If you’re not adding this to your smoothies, oats, or yogurt bowls yet — you’re lowkey missing out on a glow-up from the inside out. I started adding just 1 tablespoon a day, and the difference in my skin, digestion, and hormones? Next level.

Signs You Might Be Deficient:

  • Hormonal acne or mood swings before your period

  • Constipation, bloating, or irregular digestion

  • Always hungry right after eating

  • Dry skin or inflammation flare-ups

Benefits:

  • Balances hormones + reduces PMS

  • Clears skin + fights inflammation

  • Keeps digestion regular + reduces bloat

  • Supports heart health + fullness

Why I love it: Keeps my hormones balanced, skin clear, and digestion smooth

Disclaimer:

I'm sharing what works for me, and everyone's body is different. It's always a good idea to chat with your doctor or a healthcare professional before adding any new supplements to your routine, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking other medications. They can help you figure out what's best for you

Final Thoughts:

You can glow on the outside, but if your body’s running low on key nutrients, it’s going to show. These supplements helped me go from burnout to balance — with better sleep, clear skin, stable moods, and steady energy.

Take this as your sign to start small and romanticize your wellness routine ✨

Stay soft, healthy & glowing,

Your Girl,
